About Me

My name is Gavin Minard, I'm a student artist and photographer from Canada. Art has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, no matter where I went when I was little I needed a drawing pad and pencil.

Ever since then I have grown tremendously as an artist, working in many different mediums including charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, and pencil crayon. Animals tend to be my main subject, however, I love to draw characters and influential figures as well.

Over the last few years I have taken photography very seriously. As primarily a wildlife photographer, I love to capture the beauty of nature and animals, particularly great apes and primates.

I am honoured to have many of my original artworks in private collections, and to have been exhibited both in Canada, and the United States. I continue to grow artistically, constantly learning new skills and techniques to improve my work. I hope you enjoy!
